The Telescoping Half-Slotted Container (THS) is a very versatile box style. It can be made either with a Partial Telescope Top (PTHS) or as a Full Telescope Top(FTHS). As a result of two layers of material at the ends and sides, the FTHS offers extreme durability. This particular box is built to hold heavier items, and it offers superior stacking strength. It’s easy to remove the top of the box, so you can quickly and easily examine the contents inside.

How to Construct a Telescoping Half-Slotted Container:

Before you begin, please note that this custom two-piece box has two parts that are constructed the same way.

Begin constructing the container by opening your box so that you have a three-dimensional rectangular tube. Then, fold in the pair of flaps along the width of the box. After that, fold in the pair of flaps along the length of the box. Lastly, fasten seam with tape or staples.
